GBA Mission Statement:

The Georgetown Business Association (GBA) is a non-profit membership organization committed to maintaining and improving the climate for conducting business in Georgetown.

We have two principal goals:

 

Connecting Georgetown businesses with potential customers, other businesses and Georgetown/DC leadership

 

• This will be achieved by:

 

• Monthly Networking Events
• Special Events
• Newsletter
• GBA Forum Events
• Volunteering with GBA

 

Advocate on behalf of the Georgetown businesses and professionals

 

• This will be achieved by:

 

• Monitor legislation from DC City Council and actions from ANC Board
• Actively attend community meetings with BID, Citizens Association, Metropolitan Police Department and ANC
• Provide helpful resources and contacts for businesses to conduct business in Georgetown and DC
• Advocate by speaking at hearings, writing letters and working with political figures to achieve a more business friendly environment in Georgetown
